Thank you for providing a clear winner based on your opinion and analysis.
I feel so often I come across these articles and nobody has the gumption to say which one they actually think is better. Thanks :)
Hello, Bugsy! Thanks so much for your kind words! ❤️
I always enjoy these types of comparison articles, but this one has some inaccuracies.
Within Adobe XD you noted that there's no live collaboration and this is a feature that was released in Nov 2019 called 'live coediting'. The article also mentioned that there's no developer handoff within XD, and this is a feature that has been part of XD for almost the last year which includes web-based specs, redlines, and assets marked for export. There's also a direct integration within XD for Zeplin too.And the last item is 'Symbols'... Within XD there are 'components' that also include 'component states' that all scale and respond utilizing 'responsive resize' functionality.
Hi, Zach! Thanks for your feedback! 🙏
Good, I was mainly a designer before I stated focusing on development (I started coding before I started design college).
From those, Figma suits me very well. I even work on some other not UX/UI designs on it, since most of the stuff I do are for UX/UI (icons, flat illustrations and even logos) so I haven't felt the need to pay for Adobe in a while.
I will whenever I get something for printing or some branding project, btw, but for most tasks, even not for UX/UI, Figma is very good at it considering it's solely going to be seen from a screen.
Looks like a bias from the start with long description for Figma (and Sketch) and almost nothing for Adobe XD.
Good one 😄, is Figma free for commercial projects ? Can we create unlimited templates etc in free version ?
Yes, it is, it's just limited to team members per account. That's the one I use :)
