Continuing with Java or not, that's something I can't tell you. What I can tell you is that Ruby is great language, and it's easy to learn especially if you know Java. Ruby will make you happy when you write code, that's for sure, but I don't think you should break with Java. Honestly, learning Ruby is quite tentative, i have read very good things about it. But my concern is how difficult it will be to find a position for Ruby developer and if the recruiters will consider me as a Senior or Junior developer, having so little experience using it.
I will take a look about Ruby for Java developer, I'm sure it will be interesting.
