Hi, I am just a beginner of front end development, I am just curious about what is the actual experience to be a front end developer? During your career, may you describe to me some challenging questions you have faced? Could you give me some suggestions since I change my career path from digital marketing to front end developer. It would be really helpful if you could give me any suggestions!
Hey @jingsuuu11 , I'm glad to know you are interested in the front-end dev area (FE). I'm not sure if I got your first question. Do you want to know about my personal experience working as a FE developer at this moment?
I'll try to answer your second question along with some suggestions you asked me. I believe you can try to find some knowledgement you already got as a digital marketing profissional and try to adapt it to the development area - for example SEO onpage techniques and google analytics integration. It could be easier to you to start understanding how to connect these stuffs with code.
Each one of us have our own journey, but I'd recommend you having a clear FE career path before start working on your new skills. Don't try to learn everything at once. Focus on the basis of FE (phase 1) and do some projects from tutorials. And always remember that it takes time and pratice to learn how to code. Keep consistency in your studies. It's better 30 minutes a day then 5 hours only one day per week.
Please, let me know if I helped you.
