What kind of security features are we looking at here? I am just asking because I have no clue what kind of security you would be looking for in these services.
Another note, you mention that github has private repos behind a pay wall but that is not the case anymore (or am I misunderstanding something?).
Typically when talking about security services you might need access control, 2FA, Security Communication, security scanning(container, dependency), protected branches, audit logs, protected secrets etc.and as of private repos yes it's free for individuals, my bad :)
