All three editors VS Code, Cursor, and Antigravity offer unique strengths. VS Code is the classic, feature-rich choice for flexibility and extensions. Cursor focuses on AI-driven code completion, making it ideal for productivity boosts. Antigravity stands out for its minimalist approach, emphasizing a distraction-free experience. The best choice depends on whether you prioritize features, AI support, or simplicity.
You're absolutely right. but still Cursor and Antigravity do not shine bright, unless you pay (a lot) for what you get in VS Code for free. I'll stick with it for a while, and the other major reason for not switching to something new is that I'm already used to it.
Also, I'm getting quite tired of chasing all new shiny objects, if you know what I mean...
I wish my day was at least 48 hours - to explore all the new things I wish to learn more about - but it's still just 24 hours.
