Making Legal Justice Accessible: My Journey with Middlemen.asia

How I Discovered the Initiative

I first came across Middlemen.asia through WeDidIt, its sister organization founded by the inspiring Sree Krishna Seelam. I had the chance to work with WeDidIt during what I proudly call the best content writing internship out there — a month-long experience that improved my writing, taught me SEO, and connected me with inspiring people and ideas. That internship opened the door for me to discover Middlemen.asia and its incredible work in the legal space.

About Middlemen.asia

Middlemen.asia is on a mission to make justice accessible, affordable, and transparent. Using technology and community engagement, they help people navigate the legal system — whether it’s filing FIRs, connecting with reliable lawyers, or even pursuing Public Interest Litigations (PILs). It’s a bridge between complex laws and everyday citizens, ensuring no one is left without recourse simply because of ignorance or lack of resources.

Reading Indian Law for a Common Man

As part of my journey, I read Indian Law for a Common Man, a book by Sree Krishna Seelam. It simplifies India’s legal framework from fundamental rights to property laws, in a way anyone can grasp.

The book showed me that understanding the law isn’t just for lawyers. Every citizen can, and should, know their rights and responsibilities. It was empowering to realize how awareness can lead to action and how organizations like Middlemen.asia put that principle into practice.

Why This Matters

1. Empowerment through legal literacy — knowing your rights changes how you live.
2. Turning knowledge into action — Middlemen.asia helps people not just understand, but actually use, the law.
3. Social impact at scale — both Middlemen.asia and WeDidIt are working towards a fairer, more just society.

Standing for Mental Health Education

While exploring their initiatives, I came across a cause that deeply resonated with me: the petition “India: The Suicide Capital of the World — Mandate Mental Health Education in Schools”. This movement is about making mental health education a compulsory part of school curriculam addressing root causes of stress, depression, and hopelessness before it’s too late.

If you believe mental well-being is just as important as academic achievement, please take a moment to support the cause here:
