NORM.S.INV Function – Description:

  • This function returns the inverse of the standard normal cumulative distribution.
  • This distribution considers the mean value as 0 and the standard deviation value as 1.

Syntax:

=NORM.S.INV(probability)

Parameter Description:

*Probability – * It is the probability corresponding to the normal distribution.

Note:

  • If probability is non-numeric values such as letters or special characters , then it returns#VALUE! Error.
  • If the probability is less than or equal to 0 or greater than or equal to 1 , then this function returns #NUM! Error.
