To save each or specific worksheet as separate Excel files, follow the below steps.
- You need to open the workbook that you want to save as Excel files.
- Go to the Kutools Plus Tab, select the Workbook option, then choose the Split Workbook option from the menu.
- Then, it will open the Split Workbook Dialog box.
- Worksheet name – In this section, you need to check the worksheet that you want to split as a new Excel file.
- Options – Here, you need to select Skip hidden worksheets or Skip blank worksheets option.
- Save as type – In this drop-down list, you need to select the Excel Workbook(&.xlsx) or **Excel 97-2003(*.xls) **option.
- Then, you need to click the Split button.
- Then, the Select Folder dialog box will be displayed.
- You need to specify the location for the split files and click the OK button.
- Finally, you can see that the specific worksheets are saves as Excel files as shown in the below image.
Steps to Split/Save Worksheet as Separate TXT Files:
If you want to split worksheets of one workbook as separate TXT files, then follow the below steps.
- First, you need to activate the workbook that you want to split.
- On the Kutools Plus Tab, select the Workbook option, then choose the Split Workbook option from the menu.
- Then, it will open the Split Workbook Dialog box.
- Worksheet name – In this section, you need to check the worksheet that you want to split as a new TXT file.
- Options – Here, you need to select Skip hidden worksheets or Skip blank worksheets option.
- Save as type – In this drop-down list, you need to select the Unicode Text (*txt)** **option.
- Then, you need to click the Split button.
- Then, the Select Folder dialog box will be displayed.
- You need to specify the location for the split files and click the OK button.
- Now, you will see all the worksheets are saved as separate TXT files as shown in the below screenshot.
Split or Save Worksheet of One Workbook as Separate CSV Files:
You can split or save the worksheet of one workbook as separate CSV files in Excel, follow the below steps.
- You need to open the workbook that you want to save as CSV files.
- Go to the Kutools Plus Tab, select the Workbook option, then choose the Split Workbook option from the menu.
- Then, it will open the Split Workbook Dialog box.
- Worksheet name – In this section, you need to check the worksheet that you want to split as a new CSV file.
- Options – Here, you need to select Skip hidden worksheets or Skip blank worksheets option.
- Save as type – In this drop-down list, you need to select the CSV (Macintosh) (*csv) option.
- Then, you need to click the Split button.
- Then, the Select Folder dialog box will be displayed.
- You need to specify the location for the split files and click the OK button.
- At last, you will see the CSV files stored in the specified folder as shown in the below image.
Steps to Split/Save Worksheet as Separate PDF Files:
To split or save the worksheet as separate PDF files, then follow the below steps.
- You need to open the workbook that you want to split the sheets.
- Then, on the Kutools Plus Tab, select the Workbook option, then choose the Split Workbook option from the menu.
- Then, it will open the Split Workbook Dialog box.
- Worksheet name – In this section, you need to check the worksheet that you want to split as a new PDF file.
- Options – Here, you need to select Skip hidden worksheets or Skip blank worksheets option.
- Save as type – In this drop-down list, you need to select the PDF(*pdf)** **option.
- Then, you need to click the Split button.
- Then, the Select Folder dialog box will be displayed.
- You need to specify the location for the split files and click the OK button.
- Finally, all specified worksheets are saved as individual PDF files as shown in the below screenshot.
