Hi @liyasthomas I have one query.
What is stopping me from cloning you repo and making it my own or copying your work?
the reason I am asking is because I too out of the similar fear do not make most of repo public.

Excellent work on Hoppscotch ,I use it daily :)

Nothing is stopping you from doing that. Actually we encourage everyone, intrested in contributing to Hoppscotch to do that.

And on the other side, anybody can copy the source code - that's the beauty and nature of OSS projects. But they can't copy the 600k+ community members behind the project and it's philosophy. And what if they can make any improvements to the source code, then that could be the best thing that could happen to any OSS projects.

My advice: if the only value proposition of your project is it's source code - then never, ever open source it. And if it's not, you should probably want to try open sourcing at least a part of the project. May be it could do wonders.
