I used one of these multitable.com/product/multitable-... for almost two years onsite at last startup and it was IMO perfect: smooth and easy crank action, rock solid, everything (including top) excellent quality.
Once I had my best standing height dialed in I just left it there, occasionally perching on a high stool.
