Desiré, with all due respect, I wouldn't consider what was said to you "rude".
You need to be able to accept exactly what that poster said. You might disagree. You might strongly disagree. But it is a perfectly valid viewpoint and having asked for advice you must acknowledge that not all the advice is going to be what you want to hear.
While they may have toned their message slightly harshly, if I watched this discussion take place amongst my staff (I don't work in tech) I would in fact be more concerned by your response to it. This is part of the learning experience of our first years in the workforce.
From my early years of employment, I'm certainly ashamed of some of the assumptions I made about more senior staff, some of the causes I climbed on board with, and some of the misplaced perceptions I had about the motives of others. Stepping back from it and accepting that conflicts are part of day-to-day life, and not all criticism is a personal slight, is vital.
The very best thing you can do is solicit advice and be 100% receptive to it - especially the advice you hoped not to hear.

I genuinely fail to see where I am breaching the code of conduct in the statement above. You have asked a question and answers are being being given. Not all of them will be favourable and accepting that is important. It is especially important in the workplace.
I'll leave it at that as the last sentence above probably says all that is necessary I think.
Good luck with your company, and I do hope it works out for you.
