During eight weeks I was in the Women workshop, I have growth my mindset through different way like learning.I have used different tools like pivot tracker, Visual studio code, git hub and heroku.
When I was starting working on my diary product, I was some how confused.I didn't have idea of that but through different research and have worked on all three challenges.From that I learnt that "if you are facing a new challenge or being asked to do something that you have never done before don’t be afraid to step out. You have more capability than you think you do but you will never see it unless you place a demand on yourself for more".Joyce Meyer
I have gotten more experience about team work.I have learnt a lot from my colleague. We have shared ideas and thoughts. I believe that if you want to go fast go alone but if you want to go far go together. I gained different skills from my team.
I was a quicker. I was learning a lot of things in short time. There are time I had to work on different challenges in short time.I had to find extra time and use it properly.
I have learnt that I must control my feelings and behavior to communicate with others properly. There is time I had more blockers and I failed to collect them.I communicate with others and share ideas and finally the errors were solved.
I have learnt that I have to be update with current technology. When I was studying at Akilah,I used notepad++ as text editor and php for database. For now I am using visual studio code as text editor and PostgreSQL for database.
As a conclusion, growing mindset is a process without end. We need to keep learning so that we can be updated with current technology. As developers we know programming languages are changing day in day out.Let us go ahead and improve ourselves.
