Very nice explanation to very old problem :) I'm surprised AWS still hasn't implemented IAM Access Keys rotation as part of Secrets Manager service (as for RDS). Maybe you should make it an CDK Construct and release it on Construct Hub (constructs.dev)?

That is an awesome idea! I think it would be also very valuable to also create a construct for Github and Gitlab...
