To solve the issue with respect to receiving payments internationally, I felt the banks will be a safe haven, but after running through all the processes that are required to receive payments, from filling this, confirming this and all the other things involved, I got frustrated, so I desired so badly a better and more intelligent payment gateway to handle all the payment needs of my firm.
Fortunately for me at the coffee shop with a friend I receive a viable information about the flutterwave technology and other companies that offer payments solutions but I opted for flutterwave because it has a very strong and reliable online payment gateway which has transformed businesses, not being one that wants to be left out, I gave it a try and that has transformed the way we now do business both on the local and global scene and our revenue has been on the high since we can easily do business with just anyone without the worries of how to pay and get paid.

Rave
Rave by flutterwave is a product that allows you to receive card payments, bank account, and mobile wallet payments with ease. It comes with the advantage of allowing customers to make online payments in their preferred currency and avoid high conversion fees and allows you to receive funds in your local currency.
The Rave platform can be used easily since it has a friendly user interface, where you can create a free account in 5 minutes for yourself, business or organisation. To create an account, click on the create account button after that you move to the next step.
Select an account type and click continue. Fill the form as shown above and finally click the create your free account button to complete the process.
Having created an account, you can start receiving payments immediately as you will be taken to your personalised dashboard where you will see details of your transactions. Finally, in order that the payments made through rave by flutterwave to reflect in your bank account, you will have to enter your bank details by going to Settings on your dashboard and clicking on the bank account tab and clicking on the add new bank button as shown above.
One interesting part of the rave product is that it can be integrated easily to create a payment integration for website, applications and on different platforms like Wordpress, Shopify, Wix, Zoho books, Squarespace etc. to create an online payment gateway using the rave plugins and APIs. Barter
Barter started off as a web app but has since been made available as the getbarter app on the google play store and on the app store on ios for mobile devices. The app allows you to make online payments, shop, get paid, airtime top-up, manage your subscriptions to services like DSTV, GOTV, Startimes on the go, both online and offline.
The Barter app is one of my favourite flutterwave products because it provides for me easily functionalities that would take me very precious hours to accomplish in seconds, like creating a virtual MasterCard to shop online and even request a ride with Uber and even get a discount or enter any shop online and make payments with my virtual card without having to go through the hassle of going to a bank to get a MasterCard but that just one of the good things that the barter app can do so follow me as I take you on a ride into the world of barter.
Another interesting feature of the getbarter app is that I can comfortably send or receive money from anyone anywhere in the world in split seconds and the feature that allows one to request for money is just a great spice! The nearby feature in the app allows one to send money or receive money from those nearby.
Downloading the Getbarter app
To get started, open the google play store for android users and app store for IOS and type getbarter to download and install. Launch the app and enter your details to get full access to all that the getbarter app offers. Remember also that the getbarter app can also be accessed on desktops here, you can also create an account or access your already existing account on a desktop computer.
From the dashboard you can create a virtual card online, fund cards, do airtime top-up and see details of transactions done, while the settings section allows you to edit your profile, get transaction statement, link your account to your BVN and lots more.
Finally, the barter app helps you to manage your finances and spendings on the go. The getbarter app is free for all but to enjoy bigger and better rewards, an upgrade to Barter select can be done for a monthly service fee that is less than a dollar.
ACHIEVEMENTS
The flutterwave technology over the years have taken improved and has taken huge steps towards improving its products so that its customers will have great user experience with their products. The flutterwave system can be said to be very secure since it is PADSS certified, so there will be no need to be afraid of a security breach.
In 2018, flutterwave got ISO 27001 certified meaning they have internationally acceptable business practices and processes that include a robust business continuity plan, which has caused the flutterwave technology to be licensed in the United Kingdom and Zambia to be key players in payment processing and remittances, also gaining international money transfer license (IMTO) and USSD license in Nigeria.
Flutterwave has expanded its operations to different countries in Africa like Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ghana, South Africa etc. giving customers and businesses the opportunity to spread their tentacles on the global scene with their payment solutions.
In 2018, flutterwave was awarded the “Best Payments Company” at the Ghana eCommerce Awards Ceremony.
THE DEVELOPERS COMMUNITY
Finally, I think it will be wise I talk about the flutterwave developers community that has created a platform for developers to share and communicate and work with the flutterwave APIs and plugins. There is also a forum where developers can communicate and ask questions with everything related to the flutterwave technology.
