One of the most salient features of our Tech Hiring culture is that there is so much bullshit. Everyone knows this. Each of us contributes his share. But we tend to take the situation for granted.
My take-away from this year about good and bad intuition.
When I feel something in my gut, I don't need external validation, I can act on it.
On the other hand, assuming I know what people think or how they will react is bad.
It's much better to ask and to let them speak.
