I think it's all just a matter of getting used to the new position. I don't use wrist rests, and I adjust the desk height to keep my wrists elevated. As a bonus you can type faster from that position because you're not stretching your fingers backwards a bit.

I tried linear on the past but it makes me type with the fingers on a weird position being less natural, doesn't it happen to you?
