I built an AI nutrition tracker because Cal AI felt too expensive for what it gives you

I’ve been testing a lot of nutrition tracking apps lately and kept running into the same issue: the good AI ones get expensive fast.

That’s why I built MetricSync.

It’s an AI nutrition tracker with photo logging, calorie and macro tracking, and a 3 day free trial so people can actually test accuracy before paying.

A few things I focused on:

  • cheaper than Cal AI
  • more features in the core product
  • better accuracy on messy real world meals, not just easy packaging shots
  • faster to sanity check macros when the AI guess is off

If you’ve tried the newer AI calorie trackers, I’m curious what actually matters most to you:

  • raw accuracy
  • lower price
  • macro detail
  • speed of logging
  • meal photo recognition

MetricSync is here if you want to compare it yourself: https://www.metricsync.download

Happy to answer questions or take feature requests from people who track seriously.
