Totally agree. The 'social network'-isation of everything online - a likes culture, algorithmic feeds etc. - generally does nothing but encourage poor content, poor discourse, echo chambers, and a lack of new ideas.
Even GitHub has a "For You" algorithmic feed now... yuck 🤮
