I have been building products for 3 years.
I have launched 5 apps.
None of them got more than 100 users.
Why? Because I never figured out marketing.
Until now.
Why I am Doing a 30-Day Sprint
Most indie devs give up on marketing after a week. I did.
This time, I am doing something different.
I am treating marketing like product development:
- Clear goals
- Daily metrics
- Consistent execution
- Rapid iteration
The Plan
Week 1: Pre-launch - Build foundations
- Set up tracking
- Create content assets
- Submit to directories
Week 2: Launch - Maximum visibility
- Product Hunt launch
- Cold outreach
- Community engagement
Week 3: Sustained - Keep the momentum
- Daily content
- Partnership outreach
- Community building
Week 4: Scale - Double down on what works
- Analysis
- Optimization
- Repeat winning tactics
What Success Looks Like
In 30 days, I want:
- 1,000 signups
- 50 paying customers
- 500 newsletter subscribers
Is it ambitious? Yes.
Is it achievable? We will find out.
Daily Execution
Every day, I will:
- Post on social media
- Engage with communities
- Reach out to potential users
- Track what works
No excuses. No skipping days. Just execution.
Follow Along
If you want to see how this goes, follow me here on dev.to.
I will be posting weekly updates with real numbers.
No fluff. No theory. Just what works and what does not.
Let us see if this time is different.
P.S. If you are an indie dev struggling with marketing, drop a comment. I want to know what challenges you face.
