Swipe Through Art: A Fun Way to Explore Museums

Hello,

I’m working on an app inspired by my trip to New York City. After visiting museums like MoMA and the Guggenheim, I realized how helpful it would be to preview museum collections before visiting. That’s where my app idea came from—a platform where you can swipe through artworks, just like Tinder.

How It Works:

• Search Museums: Find museums by location or category.
• Swipe Through Art: Browse curated collections to discover pieces you like.
• Plan Visits: Decide which museums match your taste.

I’m building the app with Flutter for the frontend, Flask for the backend, and using Wikidata for the collections. My goal is to make museum exploration as engaging as scrolling through social media but far more meaningful.

I’d love your feedback:
• What features would you love to see?
• Any advice on promoting a project like this?

If you’re interested in following the journey, I’d love for you to join my newsletter for updates and behind-the-scenes insights!

Happy coding,
Liam
