Getting a feeling that Dev.to became a place for people with little professional experience to post they're ready to be seniors and mentors for younger devs (highschool students I guess), and a place to keep bringing up the gender/race card. Out of 10 posts, 9 of them will be about a war for some kind of equality. At least people will try to make it sound like that although they'll use ironic sentences like "... someone that looks like me that I can see myself in.". In a world where equality is a solved problem, you don't need sentences like that. When you command confidence in yourself and the community, you don't need sentences like that. That sentence proliferates division, and that's not what we should be aiming for and I'm sure you'll agree with me. Feel comfortable to talk about anyone about mentorship.

I also praise your willingness to be a mentor. A mentor for anyone I hope.
