Hello everyone, I'm Hansen. This year marks my first year diving into development, and you can call me Hansen. Towards the end of last year, I had my first encounter with programming and instantly fell in love with it. The fascinating interfaces and the myriad of functionalities satisfied my curiosity, prompting me to decide to learn a programming language this year to bring my ideas to life. One of these ideas involves creating a project to store the everyday moments and travel photos with my girlfriend.
At the beginning of my programming journey, I faced numerous challenges, such as not knowing where to start, lacking a structured learning plan, and feeling like a headless fly bumping around. Fortunately, with guidance from an experienced mentor, I found the right path. He suggested learning based on the projects I wanted to work on, emphasizing that it keeps the interest alive. After sharing my aspirations, he recommended starting with PHP, as it's relatively simple, yields quick results, and can maintain enthusiasm for learning.
So, I followed his suggested learning approach, step by step – learning, practicing, learning again, and practicing more. Eventually, I persevered, and as of now, the basic UI and functionalities are in place; the next step is to refine them. Although my account is a bit brief, I want to convey that when learning new things, it's beneficial to try hands-on development, diving directly into creating features while simultaneously consulting resources. This approach helps in building confidence.
In the future, I'll also be learning JavaScript, aiming to become a full-stack engineer. If you're also on a learning journey, feel free to join in the conversation!
