There is a well-known philosophy in the PHP world right now that promises a “road to Nirvana” through pure developer convenience. If you know the ecosystem, you already know exactly who I’m talking about.

But here is the reality: optimizing for developer comfort instead of solid architecture generates countless corner cases and bugs. I’ve watched this epic unfold on GitHub for years. I’ve read the critical teardowns, and I’ve seen firsthand how the technically correct solutions are routinely ignored simply because they don’t fit the framework’s marketing narrative.

When I entered the IT world from outside industries , the first thing I noticed was the sheer efficiency of the client-milking machine. It is an industry built on keeping the meter running. Endless rewrites, shipped bugs, and over-engineered testing suites are constantly used as excuses for why you, the client , never receive your solution on time —   while spending ridiculous amounts of money.

Years ago, machines were expensive and developers were cheap. Now, the coin has flipped. But instead of delivering faster, the outsourcing machinery just applied heavy marketing to keep their developers billing hours. This has led to a massive drop in the quality and speed of shipped products.

That is exactly why I created the Maravel PHP Ecosystem .
