I can relate so much to this, as there are many overlaps on your story and mine. I worked for them within the span of a month, but instead I resigned as I know what's gonna happen. First off, I was working on the tech I didn't applied for, and I think the HR of the Outsourcing Agency just sent my resume to another employer by mistake who is in urgent need of a Dev, and that time I really need a job, too. So in the interview, I learned some things about their tech stack and I almost see what will happen if I get into this company as I don't fit the role they need, since it's not what I applied for in the first place. Anyway, they still hired me likely because they badly need a developer that time as they're a startup, just a few months old, and they're on between deadlines, and on my end, I accepted the offer because like what I said earlier, I badly needed a job that time as it's the middle of the pandemic. So I started the following week. I got a week of on boarding, but I know this is not the job I applied for, my tech stack doesn't match theirs, so I don't enjoy my time working for them as I have no any idea how to properly do the job. Long story short, I messed a lot of things as I'm still learning their tech while I was demanded quality work right away. The following days makes me feel something wrong in the air based on how the team and the manager behaves in my presence. I know I'll be fired anytime soon, so I decided to write my resignation letter right away, and talked straightly to the manager and said I'll resign. It seems a relief in his face, and so did I as things get really toxic between my relationship with the company. Now, I'm just working as a Freelancer, and I'm only doing technical writing jobs, making blog posts and articles about web dev, no coding, and not a full time job anymore, due to the additional anxiety I endured with that job.
