Hmmm 🤔 I don't think that only the winners are contacted. Check out the participation rewards mentioned in the Hackathon post:

And that's why we need some sort of an official communication. 🤷🏼♂️
That is true, I'm afraid I forget some extra mandatory actions for the participations, but I hope I did everything :D
