मां की ममता (Mother's Love)

एक महिला जिसकी शादी नेषू नामक व्यक्ति से हुई थी । कुछ सालों बाद उस महिला के दो पुत्र हुए। महिला अपने पुत्रों को पालती,खाना खिलाती, उनके साथ खेल खेलती। नेषू एक दुकान चलाते थे । उनके पूरे परिवार की रोजी रोटी दुकान पर निर्भर थी। उनका दुकान साईकिल रिपेयर का था। दिन अच्छा चल रहा था। उनके पुत्र लगभग आठ-नौ साल के हो गये थे। उनके पुत्र चौथी कक्षा में पढ़ते थे । एक दिन नेषू दारू पीकर रात के समय घर आया। पत्नी ने पूछा आपने दारू क्यों पी है? यह सूनकर नेषू गुस्से मैं आकर पत्नी को पीटने लगा। कुछ दिनों तक यही चलता रहा। एक दिन महिला बीमार हो गई। नेषू ने पास के एक डॉक्टर को बुलाया। डॉक्टर ने कहा- इसे बुखार है। डॉक्टर ने कुछ दवाईयाँ दी । कुछ दिनों बाद वह महिला स्वस्थ हो गई। वह महिला अपने बच्चों के भविष्य की चिंता में लगी रहती थी। कुछ महीने बीत गए । महिला मायके में जाकर सारी बात बताई । परंतु उन्होनें कहा- अब ससुराल ही तुम्हारा घर है। महिला अब हिम्मत हार चुकी थी। वह अब अपने पति का अत्याचार न सह सकी । उसने एक गलत कदम उठाया। वह महिला रात के समय आत्महत्या कर ली। सुबह जब उनके बच्चे और पति ने आकर देखा तो वह महिला रस्सी से लटकी हुई झूल रही थी। कुछ देर बाद भीड़ जमा हो गई। कुछ लोगों नें महिला को नीचे उतारा। महिला के गले में एक निशान बन गई थी। बच्चे फूट-फूटकर रो रहे थे। बच्चे अब माँ की ममता सै वंचित हो गये थे। नेषू वही पर उदास खड़े थे। उसे अपनी गलती का पछतावा हो रहा था। उसका मन उदास था। उसके आँखों से आँसू टपक रहे थे । कुछ देर बाद महिला का क्रिया-कर्म किया गया। कुछ दिनों तक बच्चे माँ को याद करके रोयें और अपने कार्य में जूट गए । दो महीने बीत गए । नेषू ने दूसरी शादी करने का फैसला किया । नेषू ने कुछ दिनों बाद दूसरी शादी कर ली। बच्चों ने पाया कि दूसरी माँ पहली माँ जैसा प्यार उन्हें नहीं दे रही थीं। बच्चें अपनी माँ को याद करते और उदास हो जाते और उनके आँखों से आँसुओं की धारा बह निकलती।

A woman who was married to a man named Nesu. After a few years, the woman had two sons. The woman raised her sons, fed them, played games with them. Nesu used to run a shop. The livelihood of his entire family is dependent on the shop. His shop is of cycle repair. The day was going well. His sons were about eight or nine years old. His son studied in fourth class. One day, after drinking Nesu, he came home at night. Wife asked why did you drink alcohol? Hearing this, Nesu got angry and started beating his wife. This went on for a few days. One day the woman became ill. Nesu called a nearby doctor. The doctor said it is fever. The doctor gave some medicines. After a few days the woman recovered. The woman used to worry about the future of her children. Some months passed. The lady went to the maternal house and told everything. But he said – now your in-laws house is your home. The woman had lost her courage now. She could no longer bear the tyranny of her husband. He took a wrong step. The woman committed suicide during the night. In the morning when her children and husband came and saw the woman hanging from the rope. After a while the crowd gathered. Some people brought the woman down. A mark had formed on the woman's neck. The children were crying bitterly. Children were now deprived of mother's love. Nesu stood there sadly. He was regretting his mistake. His heart was sad. Tears were dripping from his eyes. After some time the woman was cremated. For a few days, the children cried remembering their mother and got busy in their work. Two months have passed. Nesu decided to get married again. Nesu got married a few days later. The children found that the second mother was not giving them the same love as the first mother. The children would get sad and sad remembering their mother and tears would flow from their eyes.
