Hey guys,
I've been hosting my Discord bots on Replit for a long time, but ever since they introduced the new pricing ($7/mo per project), itβs become impossible for me to maintain my hobby projects. Heroku's free tier is gone too, so I was looking for a cheap VPS or hosting provider.
I didn't want to deal with setting up a full Linux VPS via SSH (too much hassle for a simple bot), and I wanted something that works out of the box like Replit used to.
I stumbled upon a platform called Serverix Cloud recently. I decided to give it a try since their starter plan was only $0.59.
So far, my experience has been solid:
Price: $0.59/month (beats paying $7).
Specs: They gave me 512GB RAM and 1GB NVMe SSD, which is overkill for my simple music bot, but I'll take it.
Setup: It uses a panel (Pterodactyl) where I just uploaded my main.py and requirements.txt, and it installed everything automatically.
Uptime: Itβs been running for 3 days straight without sleeping.
If you are a student like me or just tired of overpaying for simple bot hosting, this might be a good save. Just wanted to share this here since I see a lot of people asking for alternatives.
Here is the link if anyone wants to check it out: serverix.cloud
