RFSOC OPEN SOURCE SYSTEM

For the field of electronic equipment such as radar, communication, test and measurement, the underlying hardware architecture of digital signal basically adopts RF+ADC/DAC+FPGA, which is subject to the influence of semiconductor technology, technology and other constraints. For a long time, the basic use of separate separate modules is due to different fields such as radar, communication, test and measurement. For the conversion requirements between analog signals and digital signals are different, we use different specifications for ADC/DAC under this architecture, with the development of semiconductor technology, the integration is getting higher and higher, and with the emergence of 3D packaging, in 2017, the United States Xilinx company first launched the RFSOC series products. Single chip has 8-16 channels of high-precision and high-sampling RF-ADC/RF-DAC capability, and combined with SOC, embedded 4-core A53 ARM and 930k high-capacity logic FPGA, which provides strong support for the unified digital signal underlying hardware architecture of traditional separate device architecture. More than 80% of the existing separate architecture can replace the traditional separate architecture digital signal processing underlying hardware architecture through RFSOC, and the related products using RFSOC architecture tend to develop in terms of miniaturization, low power consumption and high performance.
