When I first joined Digital Futures, I had zero knowledge in cloud computing. I'd heard of AWS and heard a few people mention how this was the future and that was the future but had no clue what they was talking about. After browsing the internet (Youtube predominantly) and listening/watching others explain cloud computing/AWS I was sold.
When I decided to leave me job and join Digital Futures I was a blank slate, eager to learn and grow my skillset. Fast forward a few months later, and I am now a certified cloud engineer with two certifications to show for my hard work and dedication.
My time at Digital Futures has been truly insightful and a learning experience. The company’s commitment to its employees’ professional development fantastic, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be apart of a forward-thinking company.
From day one, I was given access to loads of resources to help me learn and grow my skillset in cloud computing. The company has a robust training program, which includes daily lessons (online), hands-on labs, and mentorship from experienced professionals. This has allowed me to gain a comprehensive understanding of cloud computing and its various applications.
I have also learned about cloud migration strategies, disaster recovery, and security best practices. The hands-on experience I gained through the labs has been invaluable, as it has allowed me to put into practice what I have learned in a real-world scenario.
I am now a qualified AWS cCloud practitioner and AWS Solutions Architect. These certifications demonstrate my expertise in cloud computing and are widely recognised in the industry.
In conclusion, my time at Digital Futures has been a journey of self-discovery and growth. I am grateful for the opportunity to be apart for such a fantastic company and look forward to continuing to learn and grow my skillset in the future.
