I use similar to yours but with gentoo, bspwm and fish, makes it all great! Also something like ranger will be cool as well...
The tools are different but the philosophy is the same to me.
I used ranger for years, but I prefer vifm nowadays :) most of the time I don't use any file manager though, the shell is enough for most of my needs.
