Join a hackathon like Startup Weekend to have a slight taste of the startup world. You can find a way to intern or work as a full-time employee in startup that you feel is doing awesome work.

Once you are in a startup that you feel is doing awesome work, find ways to do side hustles/side projects to earn money while your holding a full-time job.

If you are able to hold down a full-time job with a side hustle that earns more than 1/2 of your salary then I would suggest starting your own startup with a co-founder without any external funding from investors.
