Have you ever thought about freelancing or starting your own coding-related business?

I have been operating as a freelancer on and off for the last 20 years and own my own LLC for products I bring to market.

The idea of starting an agency model to scale out the freelance opportunities has crossed my mind, especially after a close friend made a ridiculous amount of F*ck you money when he sold his UX agency to Salesforce, but an idea that grand would require a well rounded team to execute.

What inspires you to consider this entrepreneurial path?

Financial independence.

What specific coding skills or services do you specialize in or intend to offer in your business?

My freelance offerings have evolved over time as my skillset has developed. Today, I primarily focus on JavaScript development opportunities, but I also market my non-coding skills as I can provide strategic value to businesses.

What are some of the advantages you see in freelancing or starting your own coding business compared to working as an employee?

The rewards tend to be more lucrative compared to working as an employee, but it does come with additional risks that you may not encounter in an employee situation.
