The Jevons paradox analogy is not quite right. If it is right that "software is cheaper to produce", it basically means developers receive less pay or do more work for the same pay.

You talk about juniors not being affected because they are learning, but the thing is companies don't hire juniors to learn. Previously, companies had to tolerate your learning because there was no other way, but not anymore.

Also, AI literally hinders the learning ability of juniors, students in university are basically submitting GPT answers now.
