I’m 47 years old and working for one of the worlds largest data and analytical companies in media and marketing research. My desire is to learn the necessary skills to become a full stack developer as my current position is out in the field gathering the data that we collect.

I have been building personal websites since my 20’s with different platforms like Adobe’s Dreamweaver, Wordpress and Wix, so I have dabbled with the basics of HTML, CSS and editing code. I have as many years in the data, networking, telecom, computers, DOS and such so I am very comfortable with getting started on this path.

Your post is a great roadmap for myself in the pursuit of now taking the next leap towards being a full on web developer, which my company has many positions available for.

Any insight on how to build upon my experience is greatly appreciated, and how to get started with an entry level position after completing some training would be very helpful.

Thank you. - V
