YouTube is your friend. There are thousands of videos of PC builds on there. I'm not saying that you have to follow one of their tutorials exactly, but watching them will be good for understanding how computers work. I highly recommend LinusTechTips and JayzTwoCents.

Besides that PC Part Picker which I saw mentioned is a supurb resource for figuring out what components you want, if they work together, and how much everything is going to cost. Newegg is usually pretty good on prices, as is Amazon.

Just remember when you're building to take good care of the components, especially the PCU, but when it comes to getting that sucker installed you're going to have to push a little.

Good luck!

Youtube will be my lover, not just my friend. Checked out a JayzTwoCents and saw he recently built a rig 5 months ago so will most likely be following that. Thanks so much!
