I worked around Europe in public and private sector projects, and I have also been around for a while when Agile or Unit Tests were not a word.
This was not the intent. However, we cannot just try and hope for the best regardless of the architecture, and based on my experience, many try using Lambda without even reading the documentation or practises that you should apply and go back to the old way to work because the new one takes too much effort.
