You're absolutely right, but I chose this approach because I believe it's easy and fast, especially for beginners who will have this development environment ready in just few clicks :) I was considering some more encapsulation like Vagrant VM or Docker service, but that's more complicated in my opinion and while I recommend this approach in my Total Web Development Course (twdc.online), I opted for easy installer in this case.
