Good summary. It's a shame that the MicroPython Unicorn online simulator is restricted to a much older version of MicroPython at the moment. I'm most interested in Wokwi, which is evolving very nicely.
I actually wasn’t aware of that about the uPython online simulator. Yeah, Wokwi evolution is impressive. I’ve already prepared teaching material based on it, so I’ll see how it goes. I hope the student experience will be similar to mine. There’s another platform called Diode that seems interesting and targeting Python but there isn’t much to show for where I could properly evaluate.
