This is a research project during my education in Pre-Computer Studies at Ateneo de Davao University SHS (2020). Together with co-researchers Alexi Mhyle Aranton, James Bel Carumba, and Jasper Lawrence Caballero, we put up together an automatic alarm system for the purpose of mitigating the current manual activation of emergency alarms and reducing the response time of the school during an earthquake event.

This is the research paper that encompasses this project entitled, "ADXL-345 MEMS-Based Accelerometer as an Emergency Alarm System for Earthquakes".
It was definitely a fruitful experience. It has become a stepping stone for me to pursue a career in computer science.
