Just had the most stressful week trying to get a loan, but I think I found a solution

Last week, I suddenly needed ₱10,000 because my brother's car broke down and he couldn't get to work, so I had to help him out. I thought it would be easy to get a loan, but boy was I wrong. I went to the bank and they told me I didn't qualify for a personal loan because my credit score wasn't good enough. I was worried, so I started looking for other options online.

I found a few lenders that seemed okay, but the interest rates were crazy high - like 20% per month! I was about to give up when I stumbled upon this article https://www.creditkaagapay.com/blog/loan-calculator-ph-get-your-best-loan-rates-in-2026/ that explained how to use a loan calculator to compare different options. It made sense, so I decided to try it out.

I was getting frustrated because every lender seemed to have different terms and conditions, and I didn't know which one to choose. But then I found this website, I found this while searching online, https://www.creditkaagapay.com/ had a loan calculator that made it easy to compare different loans. I could see the total interest I'd pay, the monthly amortization, and the total repayment amount, which helped me make a more informed decision.

I was relieved when I found a lender that offered a relatively low interest rate of 12% per year, and the loan term was 12 months. I applied for the loan and, after a few days, I got approved for ₱8,000, which was less than I needed, but it was better than nothing. I was still short ₱2,000, so I had to borrow from a friend, which was embarrassing, but at least my brother's car is fixed now.

I learned a lot from this experience, and I wish I had known about loan calculators earlier. It would have saved me so much stress and frustration. Just sharing in case this helps someone who's going through the same thing.
