I think, your headline is a bit misleading though.
The things you mentioned as why you've left the sector is quite common for every sector and I'm glad that you care for yourself no matter how much the salary. That is really good and too few people do that. I don't believe in a high salary compensating for mental unhealthiness as well.
So maybe you just got the employer wrong, but the sector could still be your dream sector.
Or is this a common pattern especially in the smart city sector?
