Absolutely. That put me off for a while and I'm certain it puts off others or makes them feel like they're missing something they should have.

Coding interviews with arbitrary maths questions don't help!
I think it's great to see more and more developers with no degrees. Even my colleagues who have CS degrees say it's not necessary these days.
