How to Identify and Convert Date Format in Excel Office 365?

In this tutorial, we will guide you to know the simple steps to Identify and Convert Date Format in Excel Office 365 with Kutools. Get an official version of MS Excel from the following link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/microsoft-365/excel

Note: kutools for Excel has more than 180 features which are used to complete the difficult task with several clicks. If you want to use Kutools, you need to install it from Excel’s official website.

Convert Dates Stored as Text into the Local Date Formats:

To convert the dates stored as text into the local date formats, do as below steps.

  • You need to select the range that you want to convert.

  • Then, on the Kutools Tab, select the Content option, choose the Convert to Date option.

  • It will open the Convert to Date dialog box.
  • You need to click the Close button to close this dialog box.

To convert date formats into the local date formats, you need to follow the below steps.

  • You need to select the range that you want to convert.

  • On the Kutools Tab, select the Content option, choose the Convert to Date option.

  • It will display the Convert to Date Dialog Box , you need to click the Close button to see the result.

To change the long date formats into local short date formats, follow the below steps.

  • First, you need to select the input range that you want to convert.

  • Go to the Kutools Tab, select the Content option, choose the Convert to Date option.

  • It will display the Convert to Date Dialog Box , you need to click the Close button to see the result.

If you want to convert non-standard date formats into a local date format, follow the below steps.

  • You need to select the range that you want to convert.
