Here are the instructions to replace #N/A or zero in vlookup with blank or specified text in Excel 365.

  • On the Kutools tab, Select the Super LOOKUP option. It will open the menu.
  • Choose Replace 0 or #N/A error with Blank or a Specified value option from the menu.

  • It will open the Replace 0 or #N/A error with Blank or a Specified value dialog box.
  • Give input by selecting cells to the Lookup Values and Output Range boxes.
  • *Check Replace 0 or #N/A error with empty * option.
  • In the Data Range option, choose the Table of data as input.
  • Key Column – Select the cells which have the lookup value.
  • Return Column – Select the cells where you want to place the output.

  • Hit the Ok button. It will show all matched values in the result cells. If there is no match, it returns blank.

Replace zero or #N/A error with the specified value:

  • It is similar to replacing zero or #N/A error with blank in Excel. So you have to do the same as the above.
  • It would help if you filled the Lookup values , output range boxes.
  • Choose to Replace 0 or #N/A error value with a specified value ** option, and you need to fill the below **text box.
  • From the Key Column drop-down list, select the column of the lookup value.
  • In the Return Column box, give input by selecting the result cell.

  • Hit the Ok button. It will return the matched values in the selected cells. If there is no matched value, it returns the specified text.
