How to Select, Deselect, and Reverse Multiple Ranges in Excel 365?

In this article, we are going to see how to Select, Deselect, and Reverse Multiple Ranges in Excel Office 365 using Kutools. Let’s get into this article!! Get an official version of MS Excel from the following link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/microsoft-365/excel

Note: kutools for Excel has more than 180 features which are used to complete the difficult task with several clicks. If you want to use Kutools, you need to install it from Excel’s official website.

Select Multiple Non-Adjacent Ranges in Any Worksheet:

To select multiple ranges without using CTRL Key in the same worksheet or multiple worksheets, do as below steps.

  • First, you need to activate the worksheet where you need to select the ranges.
  • Here, we are going to select ranges in two sheets they are Sheet 1 and Sheet 2.

  • To do this, go to the Kutools Tab, click the Select option, then choose the Select Range Helper option.

  • It will display the Select Range Helper Dialog box.
  • Select – In this section, you need to check the Union Selection option.

  • Now, you can select the range easily.

Deselect Cells from a Selected Range:

If you have a selected range in your worksheet and you need to deselect some cells from the selected range, then do as follows.

  • Let’s consider an example worksheet given below, where you can see the selected range.

  • On the Kutools Tab, click on the Select option, then choose the Select Range Helper option.

  • It will display the Select Range Helper Dialog box.
  • Select – In this section, you need to check the Deselect Cells option.

  • Now, you can deselect cells from the range as shown in the below image.

Reverse Selected Ranges:

You can use the Inverse Selection option to select the reverse range in the worksheet. To do this, follow the below steps.

  • The below screenshot has shown the worksheet with the selected range. We are going to select the reverse range in the worksheet.

  • It will open the Select Range Helper Dialog box.
  • Select – Here, you need to check the Inverse Selection option.

  • Now, you can select the range in reverse order as shown in the below image.
