Almost always light mode. Contrast is much more important to me as far as eye strain is concerned, and light mode offers that. Dark mode is, in fact, far more exhausting for me to use.
Aye. IntelliJ/PhpStorm/GoLand/DataGrip/PyCharm are all set to Light UI. A large part of it may be switching between the exclusively-Light design I'm working on (so switching between Light and Dark may be more frustrating), but even on dark-themed projects I prefer to code in Light.
