We can be sceptical about the intentions of facebook but no matter what innnovations can jump out of this project for the benefit of other projects. Facebook has already contributed a few major programming innovations why not contribute crypto innovations.
Not everything is ready the same way we could not imagine the feature rich application we have now in 2000. So we need more people getting involved so we can start putting the pieces together.
I believe we are on the same place as web was in early stages only here the potential is realized, back in the early days of the internet most of us could not see were this was going. Back than people were putting their money in dot com bubble but right now the potential and use cases have already been realized at least by the people in the space.
