I've got quite a similar style as well. Nothing beats pen and paper for getting ideas out from the brain. I used to use reMarkable for a while but it was too big and I reverted back to a notebook since I wasn't using the cloud sync feature anyway.
For me, Notion is the place where most of the long-term notes end up living in. I keep my long-term plans and stuff like journaling or my bookkeeping of when and where I've done talks in there. And my list of potential ideas for blog posts and projects.
Interesting. I haven't found Remarkable too big – rather I'd hope it's heavier like an actual book. Then again, I don't usually carry notebooks in my jacket or pockets. Remarkable travels next to the laptop in my backpack because I'm nervous about breaking such a light device.
I like smaller notebooks, around the size of A5 since those are easy to fit into bags, more lightweight to write into when on the road (trains, busses, waiting for something etc). For me, Remarkable was just often more inconvenient than useful due to its size and it's been in my shelf for a long time and I'm probably not gonna pick it up anymore.
