I think it's good way if your app is lightweight and it doesn't need in big resources. e.g. something like synchronized 📒 with some features or like google calendar which you use as diary and need it everywhere and everytime.
But for serious apps where you need in big calculations I'd rather use native model

If you need big calculations why not request this at server and return REST-Json to app?
I meant that calculations whic will load your 💻's resources.
