Find a contract in France is more easiyer than other countries. The fact is that the job market in France is lead by "CDI", is unlimited contract between the employees and the employer.
Jobseeker prefer this type of contract because is harder to fire you so is more stable. So for all services they prefer for exemple to rent to people who are in "CDI".
Contractors are easily fire but they earn much more. Companies pay more for contractors because they have more liberty to fire them quickly to change team.
The big part of contractors are developers. They earn much more and they have the liberty to change project when they want. They find contract job on Freelance Dispo for example with the job content, the duration and the rate per day.
With the inflation more and more developer are thinking choosing the contractor way to increase their income.
